ICOMO LA FABBRICA DELLE IDEE is an initiative promoted by the Chamber of Commerce in Como and activated by Centro Volta, aimed at promoting innovation and technology transfer among local enterprises.

A team of experts and engineers, coming both from industries and research centres, is available to accompany and support enterprises along the crucial steps of technological innovation, such as:

- formulation of new ideas, through contacts and exchange of information among enterprises, universities and research centres

- elaboration of industrial innovation projects and identification of relevant best technological solutions

- analysis of priorities and protection of property rights, including patents deposit

- preliminary market analysis, aimed at evaluating competitive advantages generated by innovation and implementing mechanisms to preserve these advanteges over time

The initiative is also shared by eight entrepreneurial associations in the Province of Como (Associazione Piccole e Medie Imprese, Confederazione Nazionale Artigianato, ANCE Como Associazione Nazionale Costruttori Edili di Como, Compagnia delle Opere, Confartigianato Imprese, Confesercenti, Unione Industriali, Unione Provinciale Commercio Turismo e Servizi).
