Monica
Amari has devoted years to cultural projects and
policies. Ms Amari's
activities do not only revolve around research and teaching; she also
organises exhibitions, seminars and lectures and is advisor in public
institutions. She developed courses to help reinforce company cultural
assets and collaborated with the Università La Sapienza in Rome, for the
Apollo educational project.
Ms Amari was member of the Committee of Cultural Heritage in Lombardia and
of the Scientific Committee for entrepreneurial culture.
In 1997 she published "Company Museums" ( 2nd edition 2001), released by
Franco Angeli, and in 1999 " Industrial Tourism Guide ", released by Electa.
Among her most recent titles: A changing world: company museums in Italy in
"Manual of entrepreneurial Museology", published by Rubattino (2003), Style
in Power in "Companies in the Milan Stock Market from 1861 to 2000"
published by Libri Scheiwiller (2002).

Giuseppe
Maria Longoni, having taught at high school for many
years,
now teaches Modern History at the Department of Social
and Institutional
History at the University in Milano. He analyses economical, social and
trade unionist phenomena in modern times, in particular of the Lombard area.
Mr. Longoni is author of numerous articles and essays published in history magazines
and of various books as A city of work (Cappelli 1987), Trade Fairs in the History
of Milano (Motta 1987), The Art of Hat
Makers,
(Archivio del lavoro 2001). He writes for periodicals and newspapers as "Il
Giorno" and "Corriere della sera".

Paola
Briata, architect, is researcher in Land Management
and Public
Policies. Since 1998 Ms. Briata has been free lance researcher on urban
and
land policies; she collaborates with the Department of Achitecture and
Planning at the Politecnico in Milano. In Great Britain, Ms. Briata was
involved in projects of urban regeneration, specifically analysing cultural
and land policies in multiethnic environments.
In Italy she took part in numerous researches on local development, housing
and commercial policies, mostly in Lombard contexts.
Ms. Briata covers didactic roles at the Politecnico in Milano in Prof. Luigi
Mazza's "Urbanism" corse, Prof. Gabriele Pasqui's "Urban
Management" course and in the "Manager of Development Policies and
Programmes" Master. She is curator of Governing the Crisis. Work and
Development Policies in the Locate Triulzi Saiwa case, Angeli, Milano, 2004
and co-author of Beneath the same ceiling.

Martinetti, Mr Leotta is curator of the Urban Sociology video cassette
course
produced by C.T.U. (Centre of Learning Technologies) of the University of
Milano. In collaboration with C.T.U. he runs "MOEBIUS: Project for a virtual
campus". The project intends to explore the ways in which Visual Sociology
can help study cities and how this can become material for a series of"Distance Learning" seminars.
Mr. Leotta collaborates with the Visual Sociology Lab at the Sociology Faculty
of the University of Milano-Bicocca
and with the EUREX Visual Lab - on line European Urban Sociology course
coordinated by
Prof. Yuri Kazepov of the University of Urbino. Scholar of Urban Sociology
at the Sociology Faculty of the University of Milano - Bicocca.
Since 2001 professor of Environment Sociology: Urban Tourism and Visual
Sociology at the Faculty of Sociology of the University of Milano - Bicocca.

in Australia in 1971 Ms. Orlandi graduated at the
Univesity of Milano
in Modern Literature, with a specialisation in History
of Art. From 1993 she
worked in the organisation of events and cultural projects.
Since 2000 she is entirely dedicated to Didactics, with projects in ancient
and contemporary art,
architecture, design, teaching show business (theatre and
dance), web didactics. (Educated at the Centre Gorge Pompidou in
Paris with a Master at IC.COM Institut de la culture, de la communication

Tagliabue worked as translator and researcher in
the research and development division of counselling
companies.
Since 2003 she is dedicated to Marketing and Communication
in no-profit and cultural fields.
Ms. Tagliabue organised the XXIX ATEE Conference (Association
Teachers Education in Europe) collaborating with the Pedagogy Department of
the Università Cattolica in Milano and the III edition of the
