LNCV has established and led an international consortium consisting of think tanks and experts directed at assessing the security environment, the normalization process and the economic and technological development in the Korean Peninsula. In particular, the LNCV has promoted a series of track-2 workshop aimed to analyze and forecast the nuclear disarmament process of the DPRK and to facilitate S&T cooperation and engagement. LNCV had also proposed, since 2000, to transform the KEDO in a regional multilateral structure for the effective and sustainable development and regional integration of the DPRK energy systems. Recently it has suggested to evolve the current 6 Party Talks negotiation in a regional security conference.
