Cooperation Along a Big RIver: Institutional coordination among stakeholders for environmental management in the Volga basin

The CABRI-Volga project is funded by the European Commission under the International Cooperation (INCO) Programme.

CABRI-Volga is an international coordination action to facilitate cooperation and to coordinate research in environmental risk management in large river basins in the EU, Russia & the New Independent States (NIS).

The project workplan has a two-year duration (December 2004 - November 2006).

RFBR-INTAS supported Summer School on
Advances in Quantum Field Theory, Statistical Mechanics and Dynamical Systems
Villa Olmo, Como (Italy)
7-20 September 1998

In the frame of the RFBR-INTAS (Russian Foundation for Basic Research - International Association for the Promotion of Cooperation with Scientists from the Independent States of the Former Soviet Union), the UNESCO International School of Science for P eace with its major partner the Landau Network-Centro Volta, organizes at Villa Olmo, Como (Italy), in the period 7-20 September 1998, a RFBR-INTAS School on "Advances in Quantum Field Theory, Statistical Mechanics and Dynamical Systems". The main proposal of the School is devoted to an analysis of a wide range of advanced problems in modern quantum field theory and statistical mechanics, as well as of the related mathematical structures. The main topics covered are: conformal field theory and integrable models; string theory, p-membrane theory and quantum gravity; Batalin-Vilkovysky quantization schemes; quantum group structures; duality.
