The event has been organized as a second-track conference to which all participants represented themselves regardless of their affiliation, whether governmental or non governmental.

The Scientific Organizing Committee is composed by Ambassador Mohamed Shaker (Egyptian Council of Foreign Affairs, ECFA), Dr. Ali El Saiedi (former Ministry of Energy, Industry, Egypt), Prof. Maurizio Martellini (Landau Network – Centro Volta, LNCV), Dr. Tom Shea (World Nuclear University), Dr. David Boyle (Texas A&M University - Texas Engineering Experiment Station, TAMU-TEES) and Dr. Vladimir Kagramanyan (Institute of Physics & Power Engineering, IPPE).  The Scientific Organizing Committee has also profited of the support of the International Working Group (IWG) Board.
