The International Workshop, organized by the Landau Network-Centro Volta and sponsored by the Stanley Foundation, saw the participation and contribution of several international experts and governmental representatives,

The goal of the seminar was to analyze the main problems that  make the Gulf area an unstable region, focusing on the relations between US, Iran and the other countries and on the instability of Irak as a possible source of nuclear proliferation in the Gulf area.
