The energy situation in the DPRK is critical and the economy faces many difficulties. Therefore, economic and scientific-technological cooperation, as well as training programs between DPRK and other countries can represent strong tools for the social-economic development of the region. The main purpose of the Forum was to provide a friendly environment for open voluntary participation to thematic sessions and for the establishment of an international consensus for the solution of the problems in the region.
