The Landau Network-Centro Volta (LNCV) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization based in Como, Italy and operating as a global network of international experts supporting global security, disarmament and cooperation. Its programs cover international security and policy issues, worldwide disarmament of weapons of mass destruction, arms control, scientific and technologic cooperation for global peace support, water and energy security. Regional programs address stability in areas such as the Middle East, South Asia and the Korean Peninsula. The LNCV is funded by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Commission, the Italian Ente per le Nuove Tecnologie, l’Energia e l’Ambiente (ENEA), the Lombardy Region, the Municipality of Como and by several Italian, EU and US Foundations on a project basis. Landau Network-Centro Volta was established in Como since 1995 within Centro di Cultura Scientifica "Alessandro Volta"
